Site Linker

The Site Linker feature can be used to redirect users to any particular star or object on the Sky-map using preset parameters

Users must pass the desired parameter with the URL

Parameter	Description	Size/Format	Possible values	Default
The object query parameters are as follows:
object	Name or Catalogue ID of the required object
ra	Right ascension	nn.nnnn or hh mm ss.ss	00 – Minimum 24 – Maximum	12
de	Declination	nn.nnnn or dd mm ss.ss	-90 degrees – Minimum + 90 degrees - Maximum	00
star_id
The following parameters control the Pointer Area
Show_box	Determines if the star or object must be highlighted or not	1N	1 = Show Pointer 0 = Do not display pointer	0
box_color	Determines color of the Pointer Area	6A	Any hexadecimal color value #RRGGBB	#FFFFFF
box_width	Width of the pointer area in pixels	2N		50
box_height	Height of the pointer area in pixels	2N		50
The following parameters control the display of miscellaneous star-map feature
zoom		2N	Min: 0 Max: 18
show_grid	Display Grids in the image	1N	0 - ON 1 - OFF
show_constellation_lines	Determines whether the constellation lines must be displayed	1N	0 - ON 1 - OFF
show_constellation_boundaries	Determines whether the constellation Boundary must be displayed	1N	0 - ON 1 - OFF
The following parameters control the source of the image
img_source	Switches view to Sloan Digital Sky Survey		SDSS
